Seg\u00fan un an\u00e1lisis publicado hace unos d\u00edas en\u00a0<em>Physical Review Letters<\/em>, la vida media de esta part\u00edcula elemental ser\u00eda, como poco, de 66.000 cuatrillones de a\u00f1os (6,6\u00b710<sup>28<\/sup>\u00a0a\u00f1os); es decir, unos 5 trillones de veces la edad actual del universo. El resultado, que mejora en dos \u00f3rdenes de magnitud las estimaciones experimentales previas sobre la estabilidad del <a href=\"#\" onclick=\"referencia('electron',event); return false;\">electr\u00f3n<\/a>, impone serias restricciones a cualquier teor\u00eda que viole la ley de conservaci\u00f3n de la carga el\u00e9ctrica.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img
