{"id":22906,"date":"2019-02-10T09:35:12","date_gmt":"2019-02-10T08:35:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.emiliosilveravazquez.com\/blog\/?p=22906"},"modified":"2019-02-10T09:35:12","modified_gmt":"2019-02-10T08:35:12","slug":"seguimos-avanzando-para-saber-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.emiliosilveravazquez.com\/blog\/2019\/02\/10\/seguimos-avanzando-para-saber-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Seguimos avanzando para saber"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Un equipo internacional de astr\u00f3nomos ha logrado retratar una colisi\u00f3n entre dos galaxias que tuvo lugar cuando el universo ten\u00eda s\u00f3lo la mitad de su edad actual gracias a la combinaci\u00f3n de telescopios, situados tanto en el espacio como en tierra, y a una lente c\u00f3smica &#8220;infinitamente m\u00e1s grande&#8221;.<\/p>\n<div id=\"aui_3_2_0_11432\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div id=\"lb_contents\">\n<div id=\"aui_3_2_0_11431\">\n<p id=\"aui_3_2_0_11509\">Seg\u00fan inform\u00f3 hoy el Observatorio Europeo Austral (ESO por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s), los cient\u00edficos utilizaron esta lente c\u00f3smica junto con diversos telescopios para revelar detalles de la galaxia H-ATLAS J142935.3-002836<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.eso.org\/public\/archives\/images\/newsfeature\/eso1426a.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El equipo de astr\u00f3nomos encontr\u00f3 la galaxia H-ATLAS J142935.3-002836 durante un sondeo del proyecto H-ATLAS y, mediante una &#8220;extensa campa\u00f1a de seguimiento con los telescopios m\u00e1s potentes&#8221;, consiguieron demostrar que el objeto que se observa a trav\u00e9s de la lente era una colisi\u00f3n gal\u00e1ctica que da lugar cada a\u00f1o a cientos de nuevas estrellas.<\/p>\n<p id=\"aui_3_2_0_11532\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">En concreto, los cient\u00edficos utilizaron tres telescopios del Observatorio Europeo Austral (ESO por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s): el ALMA, el APEX y el VISTA, situados en el desierto de Atacama (Chile), los telescopios espaciales <a href=\"#\" onclick=\"referencia('hubble',event); return false;\">Hubble<\/a>, de la NASA y la Agencia Espacial Europea (ESA por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) y Spitzer, de la NASA, y los terrestres Gemini Sur y Keck-II entre otros.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/upload.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/commons\/thumb\/b\/b4\/ALMA_and_a_Starry_Night.jpg\/1024px-ALMA_and_a_Starry_Night.jpg\" alt=\"ALMA and a Starry Night.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<ul id=\"carousel-news-main\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Telescopio ALMA. Ubicado en el Observatorio de Paranal, en pleno desierto de Atacama chileno, VISTA tiene un espejo de 4,1 metros de largo y las mismas cualidades excepcionales de observaci\u00f3n de su \u2018compa\u00f1ero\u2019, el Very Large Telescopio (VLT).
