Es el problema de la luz que emiten los cuerpos calentados a una cierta temperatura, y tambi\u00e9n la radiaci\u00f3n infrarroja emitida, con menos intensidad, por los objetos m\u00e1s electromagn\u00e9ticas, siendo esta\u00a0<strong>radiaci\u00f3n<\/strong>, que se emite incluso en el vac\u00edo, tanto m\u00e1s intensa es m\u00e1s elevada la temperatura del emisor. &#8230; Los\u00a0<strong>cuerpos<\/strong>\u00a0no emiten con igual intensidad a todas las frecuencias o longitudes de onda, sino que siguen la ley de Planck.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Estaba bien aceptado entonces que esta radiaci\u00f3n ten\u00eda un origen electromagn\u00e9tico y que se conoc\u00edan las leyes de la Naturaleza que reg\u00edan estas ondas electromagn\u00e9ticas. Tambi\u00e9n se conoc\u00edan las leyes para el fr\u00edo y el calos, la as\u00ed llamada &#8220;termodin\u00e1mica&#8221;, o al menos eso parec\u00eda. Pero si usamos las leyes de la termodin\u00e1mica para calcular la intensidad de la radiaci\u00f3n, el resultado no tiene ning\u00fan sentido. Los c\u00e1lculos nos dicen que se emitir\u00eda una cantiodad infinita de radiaci\u00f3n en el ultravioleta m\u00e1s lejano, y, desde luego, esto no es lo que sucede. Lo que se observa es que la intensidad de la radiaci\u00f3n muestra un pico a una cierta longitud de onda caracter\u00edstica, y que la intensidad disminuye tanto para longitudes mayores como para longitudes menores.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esta longitud caracter\u00edstica es inversamente proporcional a la temperatura absoluta del objeto radiante (la temperatura absoluta se define por una escala de temperatura que empieza a 273 \u00baC bajo cero).
