Canad\u00e1 de las que, seg\u00fan sostiene Tsuyoshi Komiya, autor principal del estudio, <strong>ser\u00edan las huellas de vida terrestre m\u00e1s antiguas<\/strong>, pues se han hallado en rocas de hace 3.950 millones de a\u00f1os. En concreto, los investigadores de la Universidad de Tokio estudiaron rocas sedimentarias de Saglek Block, en el norte de la regi\u00f3n de Labrador. Hicieron un detallado an\u00e1lisis geol\u00f3gico y midieron las concentraciones y composiciones isot\u00f3picas de grafito y carbonato que, seg\u00fan aseguran, revel\u00f3 que se trataba de <strong>grafito biog\u00e9nico<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.clarin.com\/2024\/04\/24\/0WWuKKY_m_360x240__1.jpg\" alt=\"Encontraron en Groenlandia un grupo de rocas que guardan el registro m\u00e1s antiguo del campo magn\u00e9tico\" width=\"311\" height=\"207\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En rocas sedimentarias de hace entre 3.800 y 3.700 millones de a\u00f1os halladas en el suroeste de Groenlandia, recuerda Komiya, se encontraron granos de grafito que tambi\u00e9n podr\u00eda ser biog\u00e9nico, es decir, producido por organismos vivos.
